Whist Holidays at The Lindum St Annes


Our Whist holidays are now into there second year and it seems to be that The Lindum is the Number 1 destination with more and more dates being added to keep up with demand.


Our two latest additions are again fantastic value and the same great food and service comes as standard, not to mention the wonderful Edith Moss as the resident host.


So come along for a New Year break first of all, Sunday 24th to Friday 29th January. 5 nights Dinner, Bed & Breakfast, plus whist for only £150.00 per person. And as an extra incentive, no double for single occupancy supplements.


Our second addition is Monday 5th to Friday 9th April, what better way to escape the April Showers than with your favourite passtime, great food and meeting new people who share whist passion. This 4 night holiday is only £175.00 per person. For singles, you can upgrade your room for just £25.00. Well worth it for the extra space !

Christmas Starts At The Lindum


Its that time of year again, and it starts on Monday at The Lindum with the first of our Tinsel and Turkey Holidays.


A popular holiday programme for our guests, starting on Monday which is Christmas Eve. Tea, Coffee and Warmed Mince Pies on arrival followed by some fabulous Lindum Cuisine. It's then over to our Diva Donna Reid to get everyone in the festive spirit with some cabaret.

Tuesday (Christmas Day) - Our guests are treat to a visit from Santa himself with everyone getting their own special gift. And in the evening Tony G Ford has everyone on the dance floor, only after a four course Christmas feast with crackers and all


Wednesday (Boxing Day) Welcomes everybodys favorite 'A Touch of Class', who after 15 years have become some what of institution.

Thursday (New Years Eve) - Its all entertainment with Christmas Songs, Games and Bingo with Tony G Ford and West End Cabaret with James Reay in the evening. James has worked with many familiar faces in the West End, he composes all his own music and is also working closely with a popular Blackpool entertainment venue assisting them with their new show. He is definitely worth a watch. His rendition of Labi Siffre's Something Inside So Strong is a staff favourite !

And Friday........ Its home time, however you could always come again !

Dawn Morris 50th Birthday Celebrations

An enjoyable night by all on 24th October as Friends and Family arrived to help Dawn celebrate her 50th Birthday Party.

The Guests were called into the main function room at 8pm which had been dressed with fabulous balloon displays, along with ambient lighting provided by our resident Dj Rob Harris, and not to forget a fabulous cake.

Once everyone had settled Rob rownded everyone up to applaud to chefs as they presented the nights feast of a mouth watering Hog Roast.

Once the photo opportunity had finished, everyone tooked in, filling their plates with the hog, savoury stuffing, apple sauce, and of course crispy crackling.

Once everyone had their fill it was over to Rob who kept everyone entertained with music and party game till the early hours.

Mentioned in front of a huge television audience, the golfing legendary commentator Peter Alliss was singing our praises whilst at the Ricoh women's open golf in Lytham St Annes.

Barton Hall Reunion @ The Lindum

A Fantastic weekend with great weather for the Barton Hall crowd who stayed at the hotel. Plenty of organised events such as Sandcastle building and a Bring and Buy Sale kept everyone busy. Along with the usual fine food binges in the hotel restaurant.


Barton Hall was an RAF Air Traffic Control base in Preston during the 2nd World War. It served the North of England and was responsible for many lives saved. For more info check out there website (Click Here)


The Barton Hall group have held their reunion at the hotel for many years now, and continue to have nothing but praise for everything over the weekend.

21st Birthday Celebration of Hannah Rollings


A great night was had by all on Saturday evening, as family gathered to Celebrate Hannah's 21st.

The youngest daughter of Sue and Paul Rollings (Hotel Owners). Guests were greeted with Bellini cocktails on arrival, and were then lead through to dine.

Relaunch Of The Rowley's Catering Blog


Saturday 18th saw the start of Wedding Season for Rowley's with a Beautiful Marquee Wedding Event In Longridge, for Will & Sally Ingham


The Rawlings Family Home was the scene for the reception with a superb Marquee by CK Marquees of Preston set in the tennis court and the gardens had been given a make over to set the scene for a fabulous welcome reception


160 guests were treat to some of the finest weather of the year so far. The Champagne was flowing, the beer tent was chilled and ready for the ale drinkers ! and the canapes looked fantastic.

The Wedding Breakfast was served. Guests were called to dine, and led to what was a very imaginative table plan to find their place ready to welcome the Bride and Groom.
















On the Menu was a Sumptuous Five Course Banquet, Including The Father of the Bride (Jeremy's) Very own Smoked Salmon, and Roasted Breast of Goosnargh Duckling.



This followed by toasts and lashings of Moet & Chandon Champagne which was served in Magnums and Opened by designated people on each table.

After the rather amusing speeches followed the evening entertainment, with a Vocal Impressionist of Kylie Minogue, Sallys Favorite. And Friend of the Family Band which kept all the guests dancing till the early hours of the morning.


And for the still hungry there was plenty of food to go around with an impressive selection of Cheeses, Warm Breads, Pies and Eccles Cakes.

A Fabulous Day had by all

Concord Lodge Weekend @ The Lindum

Many Thanks To Gerry Russell for the pictures and thanks to all from Concord Lodge for the kind comments we received from your weekend with us.


This year was the 21st year the lodge has come to the hotel. And this year the 61 guests were treat to a St Georges Day Extravaganza. The Dining Room was decked out with the appropriate Red and White Theme. And the resident DJ Rob Harris had everyone up singing all the patriotic songs.


After a Delicious 5 course meal. It was time to hand over to Rob, who had everyone up quickly onto the dance floor.


The Night Was Rounded Off with Midnight Tea & Coffee and Mouth watering Bacon Butties
